Actuarial Associate

Proverian Capital, LLC, an expanding boutique investment firm, offers a great opportunity for an intelligent, hard-working and motivated actuarial student. We are looking for someone to make key investment decisions for our life settlement company and grow within our organization.

Overview:
A position for an actuarial student looking to gain experience in the life settlement industry
Willingness to work under pressure and strict deadlines
Desire to grow within a company
Responsibilities:
Key investment decisions involving the purchasing of life insurance policies
Analyzing financial data and modeling
Creation of templates to be used in financial analysis
Requirements:
Bachelor`s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Business or Actuarial Science
Master`s degree in a related discipline a big plus
Excellent academic performance record
Successful completion of two to four actuarial exams
One to three years experience
Superb computer skills, especially Excel and programming
Meticulous nature and great attention to detail
Ability to quickly and effectively grasp new concepts and programs
Strong interpersonal skills
Salary:
Dependent upon education and experience
